The Sea Kayaker is a kayak-touring outfitter serving Atlanta, Georgia and Eastern Shore of the Mobile Bay area. We offer scheduled and custom, guided, sea kayak tours and instruction.

Are you planning a kayaking trip to the Pacific North West or Alaska and just not sure if this sport is for you? We offer introductory classes that are inexpensive and cover the basics of kayak touring.

We are dedicated to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment to learn the skills needed to get the most out of your next touring adventure.

These classes are designed to give you a head start on your vacation. You can spend your time enjoying your mothership cruise instead of wasting time having to overcome the kayaking learning curve.

We use a small fleet of "Greenland style" touring hull sit-on-tops for our beginner courses and "British style" touring hull sea kayaks for our novice through advanced courses and tours.

Do you prefer a warmer climate for kayaking? We offer guided sea kayak tours through out the Southeast that will help take the chill off. Speaking of chill, we operate our tours year-round!

Each of our guided tours is unique. Some trips are designed for scenic adventures' and wildlife photographers who are more interested in the beauty of the scenery than in the adventure itself.

Other trips have more difficult paddling terrain which ads an extra "extreme kayaking" challenge if you wish to put your previous experience to the test.
