How the BP Oil Spill is Affecting Our Tours
Due to the current BP oil spill in the Gulf we are concentrating our efforts to book our coastal kayaking tours and instruction in Beaufort, South Carolina, which is unaffected by the spill.
Current reports from Mobile Bay and along the Gulf Coast of Alabama are that the oil has not made the much of an impact on inshore coastal waters. Videos from Gulf Shores show white sandy beaches and beautiful turqouise water.
As of now these locations are open for sea kayak tours. Even if the spill enters Mobile Bay, it is unlikely that it will impact our tours into the Mobile Bay Delta and these tours would still be available for booking.
If you are still having second thoughts and had wished to book a tour or instruction on the Gulf Coast, please contact us and we can give you an update on the status of the tours.
