Made from strong, yet soft, parachute nylon, the inside of the hammock is lined with storage pockets and a large flanel pocket for a closed cell foam pad. These add insulation to the hammock when used in colder climates or winter use. Fully inclosed, with a no-see-um net door and zip-up window, this hammock in very warm in the winter. Used with out a closed cell foam pad, the parachute nylon is very cool and breathable for summer use. The asymmetrical design allows you to lay flatter and more comfortable than most other hammocks on the market. And the nlyon parabolic rain fly will keep you dry in those driving rain storms. Total weight, with nylon fly is around 3lbs. Lighter, 2lbs versions are made with a sil-nylon fly, so prices vary. The basic model starts at $150.
