The southeast has a surprisingly diverse range of kayak touring opportunities. The terrain ranges from the high mountain lakes of North Georgia and the Carolinas, where paddling under the fresh falling snow on a winters paddle gives a reminder of kayaking in the remote waters of Alaska, to paddling the warm lowland marshes of the Atlantic. Then there is the beauty of paddling along the sugar white sandy beaches of the Alabama barrier islands and Alabama Gulf Coast.
We offer day and extended tours to suit any adventurers' needs and experience level. The tours range from easy to more difficult depending on the trip length and usual sea conditions. Most of our paddles can be done by the beginner but some do require more kayaking experience.
For those who need to work on your sea kayaking skills prior to your trip, we also offer personal, qualified, kayak instruction.
There is also a discount for paddlers with their own kayaks and camping gear. We use the Current Designs Sirocco and the Wilderness Systems Freedom for our tours.
We are now booking all of our sea kayak tours on a private, group or individual basis. So, booking dates can be worked around your schedule.
