The many rivers, bayous, back bays and wetland areas that feed Mobile Bay offer wonderful paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities. From the rich foliage and wide variety of aquatic plants, to the abundance of water fowl, deer, raccoon, wild boar and alligator, there is a lot to see and explore.
To the north of Mobile Bay is the Tensaw River Delta with a relaxing paddle out Byrnes Lake and across the River to Gravine Island for a long break and lunch. To the south is Oyster Bay and Bon Secour River.
The docks along this river are home to the many shrimping boats that work the bay. This tour ends with a stop in Billy's Seafood (a favorite market for the locals) for the fresh catch of the day.
